In the UK: The Ride to the Wall

Saw something about this on Joe's facebook page. Never heard of it before but could see the similarity to the US Run for the Wall that involves mostly a group of Vietnam Veterans who are motorcycle enthusiasts riding in large or small groups from all over the US to the Vietnam Veterans memorial Wall in Washington DC. The Ride to the Wall in the UK is about large groups of motercycle groups.... probably largely veterans... who ride to a memorial circular wall that lists the names of all service members who died in service since the end of WWII. The location also has a park where individual monuments are erected to honor different military Regiments and other organized units. Something like individual monuments to Regiments exists at the National Infantry Museum in the US. Here is a page that explains RTTW somewhat.

Here's a YouTube that I found that seems to give you a sense of what it's like when the group is assembled.
