Selecting those who fight wars..... Civil War even

In February of 1861 two Mobile Alabama newspapers offered their opinions of who should be drafted to fight in the war that was about to start. Ft. Sumter started the ball rolling shortly after April 12, 1861. The odd thing about the two surmises about the make up of defenders of the slavery status quo were posted in a Georgia newspaper. Of course drafting and enslaving are somewhat the same idea.
