The Finns used a large amount of Japanese Rifles in the Finnish Civil War. Here is a picture of some of thr left over ammo.

Finn ammo

That may have been repackaged ammo made in Birmingham for the Russian imperial army under a contract that followed the release of Japanese rifles from UK secondary service in about 1916.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy!

Do they have much left over?

Is there much Japanese ammo in Finland? I have a few original Japanese and Chinese made rounds but no UK made rounds. It would be nice to add a few Kynoch rounds to the collection.

Regards

Peter.
