Greener Ejection proble.
Some cases are jamming in my Greener GP after firing and won't eject cleanly. Anyone got any ideas?
As can be seen from the pics, the brass of the case is distorting into a part of the breech.

Just noticed this post Duncan. Do you have any problems closing the breech with these cartridges?? I have not used my Greener for some time, but I do recall having problems ejecting the longer 12 bore cartridges though it was just a matter of pulling the empty cartridge out, the head of the cartridges were never damaged.

Hi
Are you using cases which are too long ? I know my GP II only has a chamber of 2 3/4" . Have a look on the barrel with the proof stamps it should be there . Could it be dirt under the ejecter causing the ejecter not to go fully home therefore indenting the rim of the case ?

Dave, It's a 2¾" chamber. I must admit I haven't had any time recently to sort out any of 'my' problems as i am too bloody busy doing other things...............................................
I am going to have a serious look into this soon and will report back.

Re: Greener Ejection proble.
my enfeild conversion extracts but does not eject , except once in a while when the angle is right and im shooting a 'slick case' , but then i only shoot trap with it and fingermantating that spent shell from the chamber has become part of the charm ,
