Thanks, Im still trying to learn these enfields. From what I am seeing is that my enfield went through two refubs, one in 1952 and the other in 1954.At some point after that someone installed the wrong stock on it. As you can see from my other post all markings are adding up as a correct lithgow but...

Im still learning about these enfields so any help is appreciated. From what I can tell its a early Lithgow that went thru FTR in 54. All the numbers match on the rifle. The question that I have is why someone would have put the wrong stock on it or is this something they normally did since stocks a...

Im kind of new to this forum but thought I would post pics of my 1917 Lithgow. It has the mag. cut off and has no stock repairs. It went through FTR in 1954. Recieved my grips yesterday and installed them. I had to change out my slide release due to clearence problem. NO posts in here yet so I thought I would post pic of my cz52 .

I have installed the hardened rollors and the harrington firing pin . I made the extended slide relase for it. Now im waiting on my coco bolo grips to get here
