Picked up a 1943 Maltby today, serial number AT1843x. Excellent condition. Wood is excellent-plus, a light brown with nice grain. Metal finish almost 100%. Bolt matches. Bore is two-groove and also excellent. I am very pleased with this rifle. What can anyone tell me about Maltby?
