It was reported in the Telegraph this morning but I have been at a Frankton commemoration all day and not had time to comment.
A disgraceful atrocity but we will keep getting involved with these people, even though we know how unreliable they are.......

I remember once when I was giving a lecture on map reading and just over the parade ground was another sergeant doing the intro to the GPMG. The class were handling it with some care when he snatched it from soldier and said " Give it here, it's not made of f****** glass - it is indestructible see."...

I remember Tamiya but not Hasegawa. There was a French kit maker called Heller.
Most of my models were ships and I remember my mum complaining about the dust they used to collect , especially sailing ships!!

Oooooo, I spent many happy hours building plastic kits of aircraft, ships and even guns. Revell, Airfix, and a Japanese make which I can't remember - maybe Aurora........
