Re: One image cartoons
I could be in this cartoon. At least I'd not be on the receiving end.

Re: Mle 1874 - M80 11 x 59 mm Gras
Good to see a gun post for a change. Certainly not a rifle that many have an example of in their collection. Glad you posted about it. I'd like to read a report on how it shoots targets over a normal range distance. That reloading assortment probably wasn't cheap or real easy to find. One thing abou...

Re: Silencers, suppressors, moderators.
Apparently 42 US states allow their citizens to have silencers without a permit. However states can regulate the use according to their own notions: Eight states outlaw suppressor purchase and use — California, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. I drank it tonight. Spice isn't overwhelming. Hard to say what the spice is. Really tasty. The La Fin du Monde ...

Remember when we all belonged to the NRA?
The NRA has turned out to be corrupt at the highest levels. Considering how long Wayne LaPierre has been in the drivers seat it shouldn't be surprising. However, the size of the theft of funds goes beyond belief why LaPierre was that corrupt. Stealing some would be not totally surprising...but milli...

Re: Minolta Maxxum 7000 and 9000
Got around to taking the 9000 out to see how it performed. Seemed to go well. Used both a Minolta Maxxum lens and one that was made for Minolta by Tamron. The auto focus had some wander in locking in...but considering this was a very early version of auto focus camera, with the focus built into the ...
