British Pattern-1937 Officers Pistol Order Webbing.

Hello Here is an incomplete set of British Pattern-1937 Webbing that is set up for pistol order. I'm missing the Officers Haversack. The revolver is a U.S. made S&W M&P "Victory Model" .380" calibre (aka commercially .38 S&W) Revolver. Thanks Mark http://i64.photobucket.co...

Re: 1940 BSA No.1 Mk.III Rifle.

Hello No this rifle does not have the Birmingham Small Arms Piled Arms marking (Commercial marking?). The number prefix is M, if you want I can go and look the whole number up later. And yes, this is a Mk.III and not a Mk.III*, it does have a slot for the magazine cut-off. The date stamp is a bit &q...

Re: Memories of an 80s teenager and the first day of Boot Ca

And finally, page three. If you read this, thank you for taking the time to read it, I really had a fun time writing it. I know it is not action packed or anything, but I felt strong enough about it to take the time to write what I felt down on paper. Thank you Mark http://i64.photobucket.com/albums...

Memories of an 80s teenager and the first day of Boot Camp.

Hello If this photo of a scan can be read, this is a story I wrote last year about an experience I had whilst digging through some of my things from my youth. At first it might not sound like it belongs in the Veterans section, but give it a chance as it does fit in in the end. This might bore some ...

Hello

I was under the impression that the green nylon slings were meant for the L1A1 SLR?

Re: British Pattern-1937 Other Ranks Webbing.

Hello If you know where to look, a lot of WWII British Kit is not too hard to find here in the U.S. Since I started WWII Reenacting a few years back, finding it is easier than it had been, if that makes sense? Rifles, bayonets, webbing, uniforms (reproduction), helmets are fairly easy to find. Now w...
