How to post picutures at this ezboard site

If you want to post pictures the easy way, and don't have server space, consider this. Go to Picturetrail or a free site like Photobucket. Upload a scanned picture to a private album that you create. Use jpg format.

Then link the picture by first opening the picture in your album, don't use the thumbnail, then right click on properties with your mouse, then copy the address you see in the properties window. Come here. Log In and then open your post. Then just hit the image button. A screen will drop down. And then just paste the url in the space that drops down. Be sure you don't have anything copied twice when doing so. You will have to be sure the ezcodes formate is chosen in the Formatting screen. Then hit ok when the url is in the screen. It will resurface with the proper ezcode in the text window. Then post picture with any message.

If you limit the size of your picture to 500 or so pixels wide they fit better on the screen and download faster. You can edit the size of your picture before you upload it to your picture storage space that you will link from. If you don't know how to do this or if you find this an easier way to do it, try this. After linking your picture in the post screen, go to the part that says "image no border" then leave one space after the word "border" and type in "width=500" without removing the last ]. You are done. The picture should edit to 500 pixels wide. However this works best when going from larger to smaller rather than the reverse. So don't start with a thumbnail of the picture.

If editing size is any problem, don't worry about it, here we don't mind resizing it for you.

Another thing, if you open an album at photobucket or picturetrail, If you have a lot of pictures you want to show, you could just link the album too. You will see how you can do this at either of these sites.

Give it a try. It's not as difficult to do as it is to explain. :lol:;
