Smelting day

This is where to ask questions and offer experiences about the art and science of ammunition building. Also observations about any acquired ammo.

Smelting day

Post by joseyclosey » Tue Dec 03, 2019 11:09 am

Actually, I was only smelting some newly acquired lead flashing for a couple of hours today. Useing my 10lb lee lead pot I made around 25 muffin tray ingots to be used for my black powder arms.
Happy with that bit of production for the day, plus it was a bit on the cold side, I retired to Chez Closey for a nice bowl of french onion soup and a cuppa. :D
