Cleaned My Dark Bore

Post by 1valdezzz1 » Tue Aug 03, 2004 6:28 pm

After having spent 2-3 weeks scrubbing the dark bore with various suggested well know products, I resigned myself to a dark bore on my Yugo M48. It shot pretty well so I was happy. I heard of yet one more product that would clean that bore (Wipe Out, Brushless bore cleaner). Although remaining sceptical I bought some from Midway. My being anal about the dark bore over rode the sceptisism (sp?). Much to my surprise I now have a shiny bore on my M48. I treated the first time and a lot of copper (patch was near royal blue) was removed. I treated it again and let it sit overnight, again royal blue patches. I then treated it again and let it sit for about three hours. After the last cleaning with dry patches the bore was indeed shiny. I'm giving it one more two hour treatment.

This stuff really worked.
