Enfield 1853 reproduction VS antique Nepal rifle

Post by Niner » Thu Aug 06, 2020 10:56 am

Just as another exercise I took some photos comparing my reproduction Civil War Enfield 1853 with a made in India ancient relic I acquired a few years ago from that famous ... to ancient gun fans.. Nepal discovery.

They look very identical except for the barrel bands. Note how the relic has springs to hold the bands in place and the reproduction has screws to tighten the bands.
