For the first time in a good few years, I took my Pietta 1858 Remington to the range. I enjoyed shooting it but it is easy to see why cartridge revolvers took over. It was the first time I have shot a revolver for about 12 years. A pic of the target shot at around 20 paces. The load was about 25 grains of fine powder and a .451 ball.
