came across a reference to this and it's a very nice gun, I'd probably commit a minor crime to get it!!

That is interesting. As a somewhat passing thought the expert says one shouldn't shoot a firearm over 150 years old as a general rule. Wonder if that is because of the quality of the steel or what may have happened to the firearm over the many decades that may have caused it to deteriorate ?
