Saw these photos of the bigger than rifle toys no longer needed after WWII. Much of it went to the scrap heap. One shows what is probably the Ghost Fleet which, at least one of them, haunted a river in the Mobile delta for years before finally being relegated to scrap. Some of the detritus would be valuable now in the condition it was stockpiled. A lot of people would like a jeep or a military motorcycle. The Commemorative Air Force could use a few more planes and a lot of spare parts.
