I'm kinda feeling like it's like a couple minor characters, one of which has been in the cast for a long time, in a long running hit Broadway play, deciding to move to California and get in the movies.

Yes Robert. I have to say that the majority of people over here think they have been really nasty and are only interested in themselves. This of course proves that they are NOT fit for Royal Duties. Me Me Me does not work here...............

Yup, that was me in 1994. ...... 
.... And glad to get out of there.
Although that truck in the series was a modified 1921 Oldsmobile Model 46 Roadster and my truck said U-Haul on it.

Gluyas Williams. American, well educated Harvard graduate. Gluyus a Cornish name it seems. 1888-1982. Cartoon from 1923. More depth of thought to his work than the average cartoon of then nor now. https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn ... d-1/seq-3/

There's a grocery store I used to go to for years. Then one day the owner of the chain that included the store decided they could make more money if they put a hardware store in the middle of it. So they moved all the isles closer together so it would be hard to get down them with traffic going both ways and extended the shelving to make more room for the hardware isles. The the hardware isles were inserted between the diary and bread isles. I don't go there anymore.
