That sling is identical to one I bought for my jungle carbine.

Interesting that the British Army issued you a cleaning kit. I don't ever remember one issued to me in the US Army. Instead we had these basecamp cleaning stations with nasty cleaning solvent in a slice of oil drum and some community cleaning rods.

As I said, it was issued , well before I was involved. Each soldier had the full facility to clean and maintain his personal weapon. A lot of the kit was interchangeable with the GPMG if needed too..............

Yes yes,

You are going for the accessories first. Now you NEED the rifle. Very clever.

I love that the cleaning kit is original original. ;)

Since I don't reload, this is the best way for me to buy 308/7.62x51 ammo.
This is South Korean 1980s surplus, but I have also bought German and Malaysian
surplus too. All is great stuff for the price. Although I doubt they ship to France.
Of course it's always cheaper to buy 1000 rnds at a time, so 2 cans of this would
be .48¢ a round delivered to my house. Can shoot a lot at that price....... :D

I wish Vern............. Plenty of .308W 146 gr available here at around 175€ / $196 per 200 box. That's $0.98 a round.
I might find some slightly cheaper but I like to reload as it allows me to get just the right charge.

Some brass is on it's way from blackisler so at least I can make up some rounds before I get the rifle.

At a dollar a round to shoot it's a wonder the rifles are still growing in price and not the reverse. And considering the milsurp is probably berdan primed, and difficult to reload, it's unbelievably expensive ammunition.

Some of my surplus is berdan and some boxer, depending on where it's made.
