Sorry Peter!

 Would be nice to find some wood furniture for it that didn't cost a fortune

Shooting out of the barn Vern.
BARN RANGE.jpg
Our barn faces East and up a slight hill so I was able to put the rounds into wast ground before the vines.

Those magazines appear to be Metric pattern, not inch pattern. The positioning beak on the front of the magazine is metric.

That said, I have a FAL rifle that is all-inch pattern, except for the cut for the positioning beak in the magazine well, which is metric pattern.

It may work anyway.

UNPACK 3A.jpg
Mag marked 1 came with the rifle and is an inch mag BUT it was restricted to 10 rounds by having a hole drilled in the back facing edge and a large pop rivet placed in it. As the mag was new i 'removed' the rivet and it is now a 20 round mag

Mags marked 2 are metric which I bought online. I converted the worst of the two to a 10 round mag by drilling a hole and putting a large rivet in place at the same height as the original that came with the rifle.
So I have a 10 round one to show with the rifle and 2 x 20 round ones to use at the range.

The only problem I seem to have - and until this lock down is over and the range is open again I can't tell - is that the rear sight moves forward up the ramp as I shoot. This is probably due to the recoil, non of which is used on the gas piston because it is a single shot rifle. I have removed the sight and checked it and it is in A1 condition. Spring and ball bearing are as new so I may need some Duck Tape to prevent the forward movement. :GBR: :GBR: :GBR:
