Excellent Book

Post by BOLOMK1 » Mon Nov 21, 2022 7:29 am

Just reading "Gunfire! British Artillery in World War II" by Stig H. Moberg.
I was not prepared for the density and depth of information contained in this tome!
If you hav any interest in artillery, it's development, organization, application, equiptment
or theory, wow! This it, at least as regards WWII.
I found the sections on terrestrial surveying and sound location to be particularly interesting,
I had no idead sound locating could be so accurate but also incredibly complex.
It is available on Amazon and worth a read. Not expesive either.
