There was a pretty good editorial in the Alabama press today about the reality of gun crime and gun control possibilities in the US. It's pretty in your face to the magic fix gun law proponents.
While the estimated 15-20 million modern sporting guns in America may sound like a lot, it’s a fraction of the overall estimate of 393 million guns owned by American civilians as reported by the Switzerland-based Small Arms Survey in 2018. Even if every AR-style firearm were confiscated by the federal government, the vast majority of gun homicides would remain unchanged. For as many criminals as America has who engage in gun violence, we thankfully have millions more who exercise gun ownership quite responsibly.

One of Biden's "Executive whatevers" is to stop the 'ghost guns'.... but haven't seen what he plans on doing
about the gazillion already made. Luckily, all criminals will turn in illegal guns when told to.......right?.....

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.
