A black House of Representative Democrat has a bill floating that probably doesn't have much of a chance....now. However, if it were to pass, there would be a strong sin tax on guns and ammo everywhere in the US. You know....like taxing the hell out of tobacco and alcoholic beverages exists because religious voters don't approve of smoking and drinking and another segment wants to protect everyones health....even people who don't want protecting. It would cause a 30% tax on firearms and a 50% tax on ammo. And this guy is from Georgia, which is one of the Sun Belt states. But... he isn't interested in the redneck vote and his voting strength is in the black church going group I'd imagine. His district is just east of Atlanta.
