Sanctions against Russia

Post by Niner » Thu Aug 25, 2022 12:17 pm

I was reading a news editorial about how Biden's sanctions against Russia have some loopholes. We get lots of things with industrial uses from Russia....like birch for floors, and aluminum, and titanium, crude oil. And there there is this bit of news that may surprise those who reload.
So far this year, almost 4,000 tons of Russian bullets have also arrived in the U.S., where they were distributed to gun shops and ammo dealers. Some were sold to U.S. buyers by Russian state-owned companies, while others came from at least one sanctioned oligarch. Those shipments slowed significantly after April. AP
