Actually imported from Ireland. A lot of what used to be imported beers are made in either the US or Canada now days and done the by licensed by thing. Not comforting. The licensed by beers seem to lose something in the translation.
This beer is of a slightly elevated proof. It's not a full 12 ounces. And as I said to start with, imported from where it should be imported from. It's very dark and has that taste edge that reminds you of the way iodine smells. But.... not a bad beer at all... even for Americans who like their beers on the mild flavored side.

Re: Guinness Extra Stout
I tried some recently and found it a bit 'coarse'
I prefer their 'Draught Guinness' which is available in cans of 440 ml / Pint.
Keep it in the fridge for 2 days then it pours perfectly

THE perfect beer to have with a Ham cut from the bone sandwich in fresh, white bread............
