Cornish Hen

Post by Niner » Tue Nov 26, 2019 8:33 pm

Thanksgiving is coming in a couple of days. Tonight I put on the grill a bird of a decidedly different size. Cornish Hen. About 45 minutes on the smoker grill with the grill raised to the higher level.

Back in the '80s I put 2 or 3 of those on my BBQ rotisserie..... got busy doing something else,
and forgot about them. Hours later they were just balls of black crunchy carbon. They crumbled
when I took them off the skewer. We probably had pizza that night.
Yours look delicious ..... :D

Is anyone going to deep fry a turkey this year, they are very tasty.
