Aunt Sally's Creole Pralines

Post by Niner » Fri Apr 10, 2020 1:54 pm

I got gifted two of them yesterday. They come from the French Market in New Orleans where I visited their shop last year while visiting New Orleans. I was almost tempted to buy a sample when I visited but at the prices they were charging I took a pass. But tourists must be tempted.

What's a Praline? Well it is sugary candy that has pecans in it. Taste kinda like fudge with pecans. Is one worth $2.69 and about the size of standard cookie? Well, if you are a tourist from ...say Michigan, or New Jersey, or some other distant place...maybe just for the novelty of saying you tried one it is. Can't image anybody buying a box of them.....unless not at all sober. 12 pack $27.99.
