Weissbeir.......

Post by DuncaninFrance » Wed Dec 01, 2021 12:27 pm

My 'local' bar has recently started selling Weissbier ( Wheatbeer ) which I have taken to as a refreshing, tasty beer with positive medical properties.
These include a goodly supply of Vitamins and a positive source of protection against Osteoporosis ( Brittle Bones )

I was able to find some in the local supermarket but after I bought the 5 bottles on the shelf they were not replaced. - BUGGER!

Then I remembered a specialist beer seller in the town and paid a visit today.
They have these 3 variants on the shelves so I decided to buy one of each and try them.

I have only tried 2 of the three but there is very little difference between them - both very acceptable!!. No. 3 will be drunk tomorrow.

Watch this space!

A friend of mine likes Erdinger. It's his favorite brew. I never could acquire a taste for wheat beer. Not that I wouldn't drink one if offered one.

Having been told by blackisler that Dunkel was also a nice drink I bought 4 bottles on line to try.

Avery palatable beer of 5% although I can't distinguish much between the ordinary Weissbeir. and this

Two new brews to check out!
Yesterdays on the right, Müchner Hell at 4.9%. Blond, clear an fresh, enjoyed it.
Today a bit more serious. Vitus at 7.7%. Great taste but not yeasty as it looks.
