Re: 4213 loads for 12 ga. shotgun in 1922
I have my Dad's old duck hunting 12ga shotgun. It's a Montgomery Wards Western Fields Model 30 pump,
made by Stevens for MW between 1933 and 1935. I don't remember shooting it as a kid but may have, no plans to
shoot it now and probably never will. They were not expensive guns and it's only real value is sentimental for me.

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.

With 4213 shotgun shell loads possible I wonder how many were in a standard reloading manual. Wonder how many actually reloaded shotgun shells anyway...probably next to none. With only a handful of manufacturers probably it was only a matter of what length shell case and what kind of shot do you want in it.

Well, if they did reload this is the sort of kit they would have used.
I bought this for 24€ / $27 last year to load some 16G for my Charles Osbourne S/S

Interesting. Don't remember you posting about that shotgun loading equipment before.

I thought I had Robert but it arrived during the sale of the house so probably got put in the 'ToDo' file!
There is a lot of this type of kit around in France and usually for silly money.
