Lookout Possums!

Probably the most popular caliber firearm in most of the world. Many of us have more than one. They also are very collectible and still cheap to shoot.

Lookout Possums!

Post by Brass Rat » Sun Jul 20, 2014 10:00 pm

I got possums living under my house. They are killing chickens and generally making a nuisance of themselves. Since there is really no bad excuse to buy a new gun I decided that possums were a good enough reason to buy one of these.

It is a Taurus Tracker 992. It came with 2 cylinders, 1 for .22lr and 1 for .22 Magnum. I used Jack Weigand's mount that goes in place of the rear sight.

I am not actually going to blast away under my house with 40gn hollow points, I have Winchester #12 shot shells for close range stuff.

It doesn't show really well in this pic but the case coloring on the hammer and trigger is a nice touch on an already beautiful handgun.
