1914 Finn'ed Dragoon
This 1914 Finn Dragoon has the 2nd pattern hand guard with copper cap on the front. The stock appears to have been off a Austrian captured Dragoon since it shows signs of a rear sing hanger on the bottom of the butt stock and forward hand gaurd. It has a Finn cleaning rod and like all Dragoons it has the solid barrel bands, Dragoon marked rear sight, and is a typical mix master when it comes to parts.

Interesting. I don't have one like it. I did notice some kind of metal addition to the sight end of the top grip. seems to be on both sides. Some kind of clamp repair? Never noticed a Nagant like that before.

Re: 1914 Finn'ed Dragoon
That is a stiffener for what is a Dragoon 2nd pattern hand gaurd, it goes from side to side on the underside of the hand gaurd. The design was a result of the "1st pattern" hand gaurds which wrapped around the rear sight and where very fragile. The 2nd pattern is very hard to find and the 1st pattern is very rare.
Here is a link to a pic of a Dragoon 1st pattern hand gaurd.
