Thanks Martin & Niner, it is an honor to be asked to serve as a Moderator on the Mosin Nagant Forum. I hope to continue to live up to the high expectations of the members of this forum.
A little about myself, I am 52 years old and have been around firearms all my life, first through my dad's collection and then with my own. About 10 years ago my collecting started to pick-up as I began to have more "disposable income" 1st with EBR's & AK's and latter to SKS's and finally to Mil-Surps, with Mosin Nagants becoming my primary focus a little over 4 years ago. Over this time I have come to love these old "fugly" ( as my friends call them) Russian rifles and the history of them from there beginings in the late 19th century through the 20th century and even into the 21st century ( not many firearms can claim such a long and rich history).
I have to give special thanks to my wife for letting me indulge myself and collection to my bilfolds limits........
