Another 1944 Mosin Nagant, the quest continues...........

Post by Miller Tyme » Wed Mar 06, 2013 11:33 am

My collecting of 1944 Mosin Nagant's has started to slow somewhat (this one makes 22 of them) as the easy to find are all in my collection but I still find a new one every 3-4 months, case in point 1944 Izhevsk 91/59.
I have been looking for one of these for the last 18 months to go with my Tula and never saw a single one until Dennis Kroh posted 2 on his web site last month, both of which sold before I could get on line to snag one, a little disappointed I did my normal search on line and to my suprise I found one for sale in Idaho. Well I snapped it up and it arrived this morning. It is a numbers matching 91/59 in a war time M38 stock, with a dark but very serviceable bore and a front sight that the arsenal welded to the barrel.
