S&W M-10 revolver in .38 short?
It has a large lanyard ring and plain wood stocks. Parkerized with strawed parts. What is it? Worth $100?

They can be found anywhere from $150-$350, depending on markings, conditions & accoutrements.
The .38-200/.38 short/.38 S&W revolverd don't bring quite as much as the .38 Special "Victory models", but they are collectable, and that is a fine example.
It's not really "Strawing" on the hammer & trigger, but color case hardening.

would love to see it but only the swiss came thru for me - they are superb though and i appreciate seeing them , my 'victory' marked S&W in 38s&w was didrange of the values quoted , i felt i was treated fairly for the piece and the gentelman i purchased it from was also happy , we all want the 'buy of a lifetime' but seldom get that chance , and i wanted that revolver

very nice , im going to have to dig mine out - yep , marked same right and left bbl , top strap of mine has 'flaming bomb -U. S. PROPERTY G. H. D. " , top of bbl has pattent data with dec 29 14 as the last date , 'V' prefix SN on butt next to the lanyard ring , and cylinder face , S&W logo trade mark on right above/behind the trigger and 'made in the USA" on right above/fore of the trigger , havent taken the smooth walnut grips off yet but they look original for sure - it shoots very well
