This is the add and the picts for my .318 Mauser:

The bore is shiney but with some small pits, except for the chamber aria which is dark.

The metal has little blue remaining, and it is a dark gun metal gray. Is that good or meze a meza?

On the stock is an oval enscribed with 4 Chinese charactors, two cartouches, and the wood is dark and grimy.

Should I try to clean the stock, or not remove any of the 'platena'.

Basicly, it a solid peace but I do not want to ruin it by over zellious cleaning!

Thanx for your advise;

Dante'
