Hoppes No 9 Bench Rest

Went to stock up on my favourite cleaning tipple Hoppes No9. The man didn't have any in stock I think he drinks it as well but he sold me a small bottle of the bench rest stuff for the same price to keep me going until he got a quart bottle in for me.





Whats this bench rest stuff like. It doesn't have the delightfull Hoppes aroma and smells very amonia based. I've tried Birchwood Casey's bore scrubber and didn't rate it is this Hoppes BR similar.





I've got Swede and a No4T bores soaking with the stuff so will find out in a couple of days.





But anybody else have experience with this liquid.
