Got a picture of yourself shooting?

Post by Niner » Thu Mar 08, 2007 1:04 am

This is a BS post and string at best. But... do you have a picture of yourself shooting a milsurp that you wouldn't mind showing? Just to show you actually have one and shoot it if nothing else.

Here is one of me with the hat Adam sent me. Really like it....the hat. Must be my Scot fathers side or maybe the Irish stock I came from on my mothers side. It's a Springfield 03A3 by the way.

GOOD 'RUPERT' HAT!

Post by DuncaninFrance » Thu Mar 08, 2007 3:16 am

My problem is that I am always the photographer! Will see if I can get someone at the club to press the tit a couple of times.

Just so as you know what an ugly bugger I am I offer you this, taken last September when 4 of my old army buddies came over for a week. I am shooting my Pietta 1858 New Model Army Remington.

Niner, you can delete it if it offends

Offhand with my BSA #5 at an MSA match in Sumter, SC a couple of years ago. I took 1st place in the bolt gun class.

ME AND MY BAKER RIFLE

Post by DuncaninFrance » Sun Mar 11, 2007 5:33 pm

Taken today (11/3/07) at the range.

The Baker is a split stock, about 1812. I am currently mulling over if I should fire it or not. I have ordered some balls for it and I have the right powder but I don't want to break it so more checking needs to be done.

Only ones I have with me in the frame are from the UK. First off with Adam searching worriedly in the background for extra small targets because I'm giving him such a lesson on clays (at least that's my story, Adam may recall it differently) and then with Joe's Martini (I still lust after it).

Nice. Did you have to take a second mortgage on your house to pay for the ammo?
