I have seen and heard of several reports of captured "CKC" bolt action rifles in Vietnam back during the war. I can't get a clear picture of what they were. I believe they were bolt action rifles. I asked this at Tuco's site and got a lot of "it's an 'SKS'".....before it sank into the sunset after one day. <img src=

This is in line with what I was thinking , although the offical spelling is Chang Kai-Shek, in Ball's book at least.
There were several VZ24 pattern rifles about like the "Chan Kai-Shek", and I was wondering if anybody knew for sure the origin of the term and how many models were included in the discription.
