CCW and decisions

Post by oneshooter » Tue Aug 28, 2007 8:16 pm

Got mt TEXAS CCW and can't decide what to carry. Tested with a 45auto so I can carry either revolver or semi-auto.

These are my current most favored.

Carry both. :D

Or do you really have to follow the concealed part of the equation ?

If you use photobucket , and the pictures aren't huge, you just hit the img button and paste the url and then hit the second img button that will show the asterisk in it. But... you can post a picture from your desktop by just adding it in the post screen at the bottom. Hit browse, find the picture and then hit add attachment. But... the photo has to be a jpg and it has to be under screen size to post.

Oneshooter,

Wish I had your problem of deciding what to carry.

Around here it's risky to even carry a big stick.

Rossi 2" 38spl

S&W 60-10 3" 357mag

Cimmaron SAA 4 3/4" 45 Colt

I do have a IWB holster for the SAA and do carry it.

YES, I have to carry concealed, if the firearm is visable then it is a Felony!

THANKS Niner, it worked!

very nice set of handguns when most people start out ccw they will try and carry the biggest pistol they have, it's better to carry the most comfortable instead as I post earlier with this hot weather and light shirts it's my small pocket 9mm or .38 snub but when cooler weather hit's I'll probaly go back up to my .45 :D

CCW pistol

Post by oneshooter » Tue Sep 04, 2007 9:13 pm

Mostly I have been using the S&W 60-10. This is due to the heat and humidity of the Texas Gulf Coast. Although the LW Commander is nice to carry, and I tend to shoot it better.

Aughnanure, I am not "rubbing it in". In Texas you have the right to defend yourself, others in danger, and your property with what ever force you deem needed. INCLUDING deadly force.

I am not a violent person, but I WILL be the one standing when the smoke clears!
