After .22's at 200 yards yesterday

Post by Brass Rat » Sun Oct 07, 2007 7:45 pm

it was time for some more long range shooting today.

600 yards to be precise.

That flag you see mid picture is on the 300 yard firing line

This is a shot through my spotting scope while we were firing from the 300 yard line. I am on 10 and Bob is to my right on 11.

He was out shooting me all day again.

This is one surefire way to get him out from in front of the computer.

This is a shot from the pits of what we were shooting at from the 600 yard line,

an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper stapled in the center of an MR1 target.

Here is Bob's certificate, out of 16 rounds from 600 yards he managed to put 5 of them in the certificate counting the one he put in mine.

He says he crossfired but I'm not entirely convinced.

I managed to hit mine once with my FAL.

Love the certificate. That is a beaut idea.

GREAT DAY

I used to love the long range shoots when I was in the TA! Figure 11's, fall when hit - could do it all day long
