We had a pretty good chat today

Post by Niner » Sun Jul 20, 2008 6:25 pm

If you haven't tried it before you might want to put it on your list of things to do on a Sunday when you have nothing better to do during chat time.

The chat had been going on for two hours when I left today and still four or five guys still there. Several guys are regulars now and some are guys that hardly ever post in the forums but enjoy the chat. It offers a chance to get to know other guys and learn some things from what others are doing and know about related to the gun hobby and to share what you know in a real time way.

Try it some time.

If only it wasn't so damn early on a Sunday morn out here in the antipodes.

Still maybe one day, when I'm hols and can get back to bed for the rest of the day.

We could have another chat time added. Any suggestion?

Well, for a point of reference this site is the place to sort out times from http://www.timeanddate.com/

Sorry if that came across a bitch . Didn't mean it that way. Was just voicing my disappointment at missing out.

With a worldwide audience there is going to be no single time that suits all. Putting it back a few hours to make it reasonable here means a late start for the brits and making it late on a Sunday for here means a really early start for the US. Varying the time to spread the pain would just complicate it.

One of those problems with no real solution  I'll just have to get my butt out of bed early if I want to join in.

Nothing wrong with having two or three chat times. Maybe one will work for the US and Australia. Maybe one would work for Australia and Europe. Of course some would have to be left out from somewhere for some chats.
