Un-Bubba'd 1903
Un-Bubba'd 1903
Recently I bought a Bubba'd 1903 for $100. I figured it would make a good project gun. Well I got it home and figured out just how much was wrong with it. I decided to see if I could undo some of the damage that was done. I have included some before photos. In one of the pictures you can see bailing twine that was used as a spacer on the front sling swivel and the high quality front action screw. I did the best I could with what I had. I know it's not perfect but I am pretty satisfied with the end result as you will see in my follow up posting.

Update- Un-Bubba'd 1903
Here are the photos of the finished restoration. It's not perfect and not exactly to specs but I am pleased with the end results.

I'll second the well done
Looks like a really professional restoration.
