Fired up the grill

Post by Niner » Fri Mar 06, 2009 8:57 pm

It was chicken drumettes tonight. Kinda like hot wings or Buffalo Wings...but not exactly.

All you need is a charcoal fire and a grill about 6 inches off of the coal. Spray the grill with PAM to keep from sticking. Season the wings however you like and put on for ten minutes a side. Put on the bbq sauce and they are done.

I like blue cheese dressing to dip them in. I also like BBQ sauce. There is a difference of opinion at my house of which is best. Wife likes honey sweet and daughter likes spicy. I don't much care as both are good.

The blue cheese dressing is simple. One package of blue cheese and one package of Philidelpha cream cheese in a blender with some milk and a dash of garlic salt. What you don't use for the chicken dip will make a great dressing for salad.

Bloody Norah that looks good. Must try the blue cheese dressing some time.
