Excellent. I lucked upon a 10/44 one in 2000, then the bayonet. Confess I still haven't fired it.

I believe it is a different wood used for the later stocks Robert.

Nice rifles mates. I'd really like the lighter stock, but the price out here nowdays precludes the luxury of a second No5.

do your spikes run the gamut of MkI, MkII, MkII* & MkIII ? Having seen some of your other stuff I suspect I already know the answer :lol:
