Let me set the tone for different.
Here is a scan of a photo taken at a reenactment eight or ten years ago. There is something about it....... in addition to the guns and equipment and uniforms. It's a unique happening experience by an assortment of people of different ages and backgrounds. Can you imagine what the experience must have been in individual ways. Old, young, black, white. Political, cultural, economic differences must have been significant judging from the faces. Yet they are all experiencing this moment together. And each is doing it because he wants to for his own reasons. Nobody is being paid.
