This hurts

Post by Dutch Mosin » Mon Nov 28, 2011 1:33 pm

Check this out.
One of my colleagues has one of these.
It's a pimped Browning HP that was issued to the Royal Dutch Army until the Glock 17 took over.
Why is it pimped????????
Well....nowadays we use these to give away as some sort of price.
You think that's a good idea???????
I don't.

So far so good.

Now check out the other side.

Our gun law says we have to do this when we want to demilitarise semi automatic weapons.

A half of a loaf is better than none......but half of a pistol is just junk. Maybe the only good thing is that now you can give two prizes. :loco:

Sectionized weapons have their place, especially as training aids, however they ought to be well done.

The machining on that one is awful.

Eoin..... I couldn't agree more.
This HP has been cut in half, chromed and some parts were "gold" plated.
All parts are glued in place.
You can't do anything with it but look at it.

I have a soft spot for the Browning and would love to own one of those.
