The Muzzle Loader rifles in the US

Post by Niner » Sun Aug 21, 2005 12:35 pm

To learn about the developement of the muzzle loader in the US and of some of the major contributors to this developement, there is one text of long standing value.

Walter M. Cline's book, The Muzzle-Loading Rifle. Then and Now, was published for the first time in 1942. It has a wealth of information in it that has not been surpassed, both technical and historic.

If you have a hard time finding it, The National Muzzleloading Rifle Association used to sell copies.... probably still do.
