All is true. It is particularly nice with Wensleydale, White Stilton or Chedder cheese (as is fruit cake) and you eat it all year round. I will post my mums recipe later, it's magic

Later than I intended however, here is the recipe for,Yorkshire Parkin. The weights are in UK amounts however I have included a conversion chart to metric.

Imperial to US - that's up to you
