On Jon Stewart last night they had a piece on Australia and about how the Australian political saints that passed gun confiscation laws had sacrificed their political futures for the better good and that there had been fewer gun deaths in Australia since. Some functionary of Harry Reid, US Senator and political hack, was given the third degree about how the general good should come before political expediancy....even if the electorate doesn't agree in what the general good is seen to be. And the NRA was the focus rather than the people who elect the political ikons.
