This is OK until the Gîte season starts in April then I can only go if no one is arriving on a Saturday which is normal changeover day. This year has been almost all week lettings so I have not been claybusting for 4 months!
I went on Saturday buy can't go again before the end of the season which makes membership very expensive
I started looking about and found a club at Pons which is north of here. The door to door distance is only 2kms further so I have arranged with the President to visit next month with a view to joining
. They shoot on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm and during the summer on Wednesday afternoons as well so that is a better arrangement plus they shoot all year.
Another plus is that they shoot Skeet, which I have wanted to try for years.
