BSA Martini No 8

Post by dromia » Mon Sep 19, 2005 4:24 pm

I think I've just bought one of these. :D

I was picking up some BSA Martini Internationals today and I spotted what I thought was a number 12 and told the guy to put it in with the others without giving it much of a look over. However on geting home and having a bit think and a bit read it loks more like a 8 than a 12. Reciever width should but the deciding factor.

If it is an 8 then I'm a happy man as they are a bit scarcer than the 12. :D

Have you got a dealers ticket now Adam? You seem to have more rifles than some gunshops. :)

Regards

Hi Peter,

no I don't have a dealers ticket but I'm giving the old one for ones some hammer, I'm getting my moneys worth out of the firearms licensing bods :D

Just moving some rifles through in some quantity 4-6 at a time to get the pick for myself and selling the rest on with the help of some friendly dealers.

Bob Dunkley in Middlesbrough has a nice Charnwod Ordnance 7.62 No 4 in for £295 if you are still looking.

Hopefully pictures to follow Dave, pretty busy at present though so the site isn't getting my usual attention. :(
